Hello everyone! There is a change that I would like to let you all know about. I will no longer be using this blog to give updates and unveil new designs. I have decided to personally take over the Country Cottage Needleworks Facebook page, and so all new pattern pictures and updates will be available there from now on. I hope you like our take on a real classic this month,Cookies& Milk. They are truly one of life's best pairs, don't you think? The model was stitched on Weeks'30 count Cocoa Linen and uses DMC, along with Crescent Colours'Toasted Marshmallow and Brown Sugar and Weeks'Moss.

Our other new design this month is a take on the ever popular Home Sweet Home, but we've called this one the""since these bees'little homes are filled with sweet honey! The model was stitched on Lakeside Linens'28 count Patina and uses a couple of DMC threads along with Crescent Colours'Blushing Beauty, Ginger Snap, Honey Comb and Caterpillar and Sampler Threads'Chives.

Both this and"August Cottage"will be shipping to distributor's on Friday, so you can look for them in your shops in the weeks to follow.

I know that in the hot month of August there's no place that I'd rather be than at the beach, so for this month we have a beach cottage! The model was stitched on Wichelt's 28 count Lambswool and you will need DMC 352, 420, 422, 744, 3022, 3023, 3031, 3755, and White, along with Sampler Threads'Morning Glory and Shutter Green to complete the model as shown. Check back here on Wednesday for a look at our other new design,"Sweetest Home."

This month's new designs are all about the First isJuly Cottage. For this design you will need DMC 435, 744, 3031 and White. You will also need Sampler Threads'Geranium and Aged Pewter and Crescent Colours'Betty Bluebell, Chopped Chives and Blue Beatrice.

Secondly, we haveStar Spangled Garden,which was stitched on Wichelt's 28 count Country French Blue linen. You will need DMC White along with Crescent Colours'Ladybug and Blue Beatrice and Weeks'Ivy and Dirt Road.

Both designs will be shipping to distributors at the end of next week so you should look for them in your shops towards the end of this month or early June. Happy Stitching!

You will need Crescent Colours'Wavy Navy, Toasted Marshmallow, Bramble Bush, Hazelnut and Finley Gold as well as Sampler Threads'Baby Spinach and School House Red to stitch the design as shown.
